The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) has launched a new membership category for Students and Emerging Professionals (SEP). SER recognizes that this group of individuals is vital to promoting the science and practice of ecological restoration, connecting newcomers with established leaders in the field, and integrating new ideas with accepted restoration practices. SER hopes that membership in the SEP category will foster communication and collaboration among individuals within the organization and provide the tools and knowledge needed for students to successfully enter careers in Ecological Restoration. SER has developed an SEP committee to promote these efforts. During this webinar, SER board members and staff will discuss resources available to SER SEP members including virtual discussion boards, the job board, and the Restoration Resource Center as well as ways by which interested SER members can become involved with the SEP committee.
